Headlight Restoration
Headlight Restoration is the process of removing oxidation from the outer surfaces of your headlight’s lenses, and bringing them back to brand-new, crystal-clear condition. The removal of this oxidation will greatly improve how far your lights will project the path in front of you, thus keeping you much safer at night. Oxidation is the nasty, yellow, brown & hazy appearance on your headlight lenses, caused simply by nature’s elements.
Permanent Headlight Restoration entails adding clear coat to each lens, after they have been fully restored. This will keep your headlights in crystal-clear condition, permanently.
How It Works
As you may have already tried (hopefully not) a headlight restoration kit from a store, you may have also realized that once you were finished following the directions that your headlights still weren’t up to par, or still oxidized. These kits simply do not work, unless the level of oxidation is at an absolute, bare minimum! We use light-grit sandpaper to remove the oxidation, and rubbing compound & a polisher to finish each headlight lens. Our sandpaper method has been tried & true, which is why we can guarantee to restore them back to a literal crystal-clear condition.
Duration
Each headlight lens can take anywhere between 15-25 minutes to complete, resulting in a full service being completed in less than an hour. For Permanent Headlight Restoration, in which we add clear coat to each headlight lens after they are restored, each headlight can take anywhere between 20-35 minutes.
